The Carducci Quartet with William Howard (Piano)
One of the most successful ensembles of their generation, The Carducci Quartet performs over 90 concerts each year, appearing at prestigious venues and festivals across the globe. They have won numerous international competitions and awards,including the Concert Artists Guild Competition (2007 and a Royal Philharmonic Society Award (2016).
They are joined by pianist William Howard for Dvorak’s Piano Quintet, one of the most immediately engaging and beautiful quintets in the whole repertoire.

William Howard
William Howard is one of Britain’s leading pianists, enjoying a career that has taken him to over 40 different countries. He performs regularly at major venues and festivals in the UK and can be heard frequently on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM. He has made over forty CD recordings and premiered several dozen new works by leading composers from the UK and abroad. His highly acclaimed album of Sixteen Love Songs for solo piano was released by Orchid Classics in June 2016 and was the start of a wider project to commission sixteen new piano love songs, which were all premiered in 2016/17 and released on CD in June 2018. Forthcoming engagements include concerts in the USA and the Czech Republic as well as around the UK and the premiere of 24 Preludes and Fugues by Howard Skempton.
