Piano Series

“I am a huge fan of The Goods Shed, which is a beautifully designed and inspiring space to perform in and I am delighted to have been asked to put together a programme of high-quality concerts with both established and up and coming artists.

The series offers a mix of familiar and less familiar repertoire, with a short work by a living composer in each programme, and the chance to hear two of this country’s leading chamber groups and two exceptionally talented young pianists in an attractive and welcoming venue.”

CarmenCo presents A Pocket Opera

CarmenCo's "A Pocket Opera" is a concert of Spanish and Spanish inspired music presented as a play with a storyline which roughly follows the story of Bizet's opera Carmen, but told from her point of view. Dare you consult the cards with her? What does she think of the men in her story? Did she foresee her gruesome ending? And does she like the opera Bizet wrote about her?
