Summer Workshops in the  newly-restored Train Carriage

Embedded in Time – Create plaster cast relief tiles featuring cogs and wheels, lost luggage and more. Who travelled on the old railways to Tetbury, and where were they coming from?

Join Liz and Tam as they go back in time exploring the history of Tetbury Station and the people passing through.

Artsparks is an established team of two local artists, Liz Lancashire and Tam Inglis.  They provide art workshops, after school clubs and parties for children aged 6 – 11 years.  They are delighted to be working in conjunction with Tetbury Goods Shed bringing new Ventures to the Carriage.  This is the first of a series of different workshops.  Other events include:

Crazy Hats on 16th June – create your very own Jumbo Crazy Hat and wear for the day

View from the Carriage Window on 16th August – Learn how to make 3D dioramas with imaginary railway travellers in silhouette.

Seaside Felt-Making on Friday 17th August – make felt images from fleece – simple motifs which capture the summer holidays.
