Washington Post owner, Kay Graham (Streep), is still adjusting to taking over her late husband’s business when editor Ben Bradlee (Hanks) discovers the New York Times has scooped them with an explosive expose on the Pentagon Papers exposing the depths of the US government’s deceptions about the futility of the Vietnam War.
Determined to compete, Post reporters find a complete copy of those papers. When the government pressuresThe Post, Graham must decide whether to back down for the safety of her paper or publish and fight for the Freedom of the Press.
Films at the Goods Shed are projected on to a six-metre (19 feet 8 inches) wide screen, with sound provided by a multipoint Dolby system. The 180 seats are purpose-made for auditorium use and are tiered, giving everyone a comfortable and unobstructed view of the screen.
We provide a bar at most screenings, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Doors open 30 minutes before each screening.
