Certificate 15. Running time: 2hr. Mystery, Romance. Doors open at 7pm
A shy but ambitious film student (Honor Swinton Byrne) begins to find her voice as an artist while navigating a turbulent courtship with a charismatic but untrustworthy man (Tom Burke).
She defies her protective mother (Tilda Swinton) and concerned friends as she slips deeper and deeper into an intense, emotionally fraught relationship that comes dangerously close to destroying her dreams.
One of Britain’s most unique filmmakers Joanna Hogg (Archipelago, Unrelated) presents a deeply personal examination of her own youthful experiences in this beautifully crafted, Martin Scorsese produced portrait of self-discovery, The Souvenir.
We recently had a hearing loop installed at The Shed for the benefit of all who might appreciate a little help hearing the audio systems. If you would like to reserve one – you can do so either when booking your tickets on line or by calling the office on 01666 505496.
Films at the Goods Shed are projected on to a six-metre (19 feet 8 inches) wide screen, with sound provided by a multipoint Dolby system. The 180 seats are purpose-made for auditorium use and are tiered, giving everyone a comfortable and unobstructed view of the screen.
We provide a bar at most screenings, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Doors open 30 minutes before each screening.
You can buy tickets in advance using the form below, or on the door up to 30 minutes before screening, subject to availability. There is no fee for booking online.
At this stage, it isn’t possible to reserve specific seats. If you have a favourite spot, it’s best to arrive early, get a drink, and settle in to enjoy the movie!
