The third concert in the 2022 Goods Shed Piano Series

Formed in 2012, the Leonore Piano Trio brings together three internationally acclaimed artists whose piano trio performances as part of Ensemble 360 were met with such enthusiastic response that they decided to form a piano trio in its own right. The Trio has since given concerts both at home and in many other parts of the world, combining a comprehensive repertoire of works by the celebrated classical and romantic composers.

After the interruption of lockdown, it is a great pleasure to be able to offer a second Piano Series.

Launched in November 2021 with pianist Melvyn Tan, the next three concerts take place on the third Saturday of January, March and May, setting a pattern that we hope to continue in the future.  The series offers a mix of familiar and less familiar repertoire, with a short work by a living composer in each programme, and the chance to hear some of the country’s leading performers in an attractive and welcoming venue. William Howard.   Curator of the 2021.22 Piano Series
