Doors open 6.30pm. Introductory price of £4. Pay at door. Refreshments included.

On each of these ‘WAGS’ sessions, being held in our railway carriage “Mary Jane” behind the Goods Shed, we have visiting published writers from various genres who, for the first half of the evening, will present, read and talk about their work.

Then, after a break for refreshments, there is an ‘open mic’ session in which the floor is open to any writers in the audience who may like to share and read a piece of their own work – just sign up to share as you come in.

Doors open at 6.30pm. Talk/reading/etc begins at 7.00pm.

Tetbury poet and Writers at the Goods Shed (WAGS) organiser Phil Kirby will be kicking off the 2019-20 season of events.

Phil’s work has been appearing in magazines and journals for many years and, along the way, he has been awarded a bursary and a number of competition prizes. He also spent some years running his own small  press. Phil will be reading from his two collections, as well as some more recent published work. The usual open mic session will follow.

Introductory ticket price of just £4.00 – pay on the door on the night

PLEASE NOTE:  These sessions will take place in the “Mary Jane” railway carriage behind the Goods Shed
