It's hard not to smile when you have a ukulele in your hand! Formed in 2010 and based locally we are delighted to welcome Uke Stroud to the Shed offering a varied repertoire of well-known popular songs, many with a folk influence.

Chris (bass baritone) and Robert (piano) are back at The Shed by popular request, bringing a new programme of beautiful classical songs And they are very excited to be sharing the stage this afternoon with Flying Guitars, an instrumental guitar duo who will dazzle us with a gorgeous mix of Flamenco, Latin, Folk and Classical music.

We start this years season of musical concerts at the Goods Shed with the community orchestra Rodborough Folk Orchestra making lively noises together, playing traditional music from all over the British Isles and further afield.

Especially for St Patricks Day we welcome harpist Ruth Sandiford and she is joined by Doug, Sue and Claire from Spootiskerry a group playing traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, England, Europe and America played on fiddle, guitar, tin whistle and bazouki.

Playing folk dance music from Britain and Ireland, jigs reels, polkas and so on, on fiddle, guitar, piano, oboe and percussion. They also sing a few folk songs, both traditional and contemporary. This is Between the Acts.
