Art Exhibitions at the Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre

Since The Goods Shed Arts Centre opened in 2017, art exhibitions have been an essential part of our flexible arts space and we have built up a reputation for showcasing exciting and vibrant artwork that reflects the importance of the Cotswolds as a centre for the arts.

All work is for sale making a visit to a Goods Shed exhibition a perfect day out, providing an opportunity to discover new artists, perhaps to invest in their work and to relax afterwards with a stroll along the Tetbury Trail followed by a hot drink and delicious home-made food from the Whistle Stop café.

We are delighted to announce that in 2019 The Goods Shed forged a long term relationship with the prestigious Royal West of England Academy in Bristol, UK’s only regional Royal Academy of Art.  This is a fitting partnership as each organisations has a royal patron in Her Majesty the Queen and  HRH Prince of Wales, both of whom have an established commitment to the arts.

While continuing with our regular exhibitions showcasing art and providing opportunities for new and emerging talent,  The Goods Shed  will now operate in collaboration with the RWA as an outreach centre of excellence, hosting  the RWA biennial Friends Exhibition.

These are exciting times for The Goods Shed, with the art exhibitions building upon the stated aim to fulfil local need whilst pursuing the ambition to become a centre of excellence for the arts in the Cotswolds.

What artists say

The Goods Shed was a great place to exhibit. Friendly really helpful people helped me hang the work. Such a lovely space to exhibit with good light and an excellent easy to use hanging system. Volunteer stewards stewarding the whole time who were so interested in the work and keen to be able to talk about the paintings. Lots of visitors and I was pleased with the reaction, sales and contacts I made. I would love to exhibit there again.
