Enjoy a safe and relaxing visit

We’re good to go!

We can understand why ever-changing official health guidance has left many people concerned about visiting venues such as the Goods Shed.

At the same time, others may worry that restrictions will spoil their enjoyment of an event or visit to the cafe.

good to go tgs white bkgdSo we have been working hard in the run-up to reopening to give everyone the safest and most enjoyable experience we can.

As a result, we have been awarded the We’re Good to Go industry mark by Visit England for our distancing and cleanliness protocols.

The situation means we have had to make some changes to our seating layout and booking system, as well as installing a one-way system and hand sanitising stations. To allow for distancing, numbers are restricted to a maximum of 60 per indoor event, which is a third of full capacity.

But we haven’t forgotten the reason why people come to the Goods Shed, which is to have a good time. The bar will be open for most events. And the new seating layout includes small-group-friendly 2-, 3- and 4-seat tables that you reserve in advance through our new booking system. There are also numbered, pre-booked seats in the tiered rows.

We are committed to fulfilling our public health responsibilities at this time, and we will of course maintain a close eye on the situation in this area of the country.

Thankfully, Gloucestershire remains a very low risk area. For example in the week to 20 September there were just seven positive tests among the 90,000 inhabitants of Cotswold District. That’s one out of 12,800 people: rather more than you’ll encounter at any of our events!
