This week we bring you Folk band Between the Acts.
Playing Irish fiddle music on instruments ranging from the fiddle to the bass guitar, bodhran, twelve-string guitar and congas. Their suite of tunes depicting the journey to Santiago de Compostela was recorded on a CD called ‘Hours’. They also play American songs and English folk songs.
They contributed to a remake of Bob Dylan’s John Wesley Harding album to mark its fiftieth anniversary, and this too was recorded as a CD.
Do please come and join us – here you can meet friends and make friends whilst enjoying some lovely music. Admission is just £3.00 (plus booking fee) Our Whistle Stop Café will be open if you fancy a nice cup of tea (or coffee) and maybe one of Sasha’s amazing cakes.
There will be a selection of tables and chairs set out in the hall for you to choose from on arrival.
