Welcome to our latest Tea Concert at the Goods Shed.
and entertaining you this week is cellist Caroline Simpson and pianist Claire Smith, playing music by Ravel, Dvorak, Schumann, Schubert and Bach, amongst others.
Caroline discovered her love for the cello on leaving school and subsequently studied for a music degree and trained to be a music therapist. She now has a busy teaching practice in Stroud and especially loves to play the rich repertoire of chamber music for cello. She is delighted to be playing with Claire who she met on a chamber music course some years ago.
South African born Pianist and Dancer, Claire shares her love of music and dance teaching in schools and participating in Creative Dance Projects . Claire discovered chamber music late in life and now participates regularly in Chamber Music courses with a particular fondness for the cello repertoire.
