Sir William Romney’s School – Summer Exhibition

Free admission

The exhibition runs from Wednesday 22nd June through to and including Sunday 26th June 2022.   Opening times are 10-4pm Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays and occasionally for other events in the main hall – we recommend you call first if travelling a distance to avoid disappointment.

The students of Sir William Romney’s School enjoy creating Art. The subject offers them an opportunity to exercise their creativity whilst gaining valuable life skills and benefitting from the positive mental health aspects. The Sir William Romney’s School Art Exhibition gives you a taste of all of the projects students have worked on this year. There are examples of Year 7 still life, Year 8 clay monster masks, Year 9 Surrealist landscapes and a wide range of GCSE artwork too. For such a small school, it is bursting with talent. Please come and celebrate their wonderful artwork with us.

Welcome to Sir William Romney’s School – by their Headteacher

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Sir William Romney’s School.

Proudly comprehensive, we provide an aspirational, vibrant and supportive learning environment into which we welcome children of all academic abilities.  We understand that every child is unique and all our staff are committed to helping each one develop their independence, resilience and self-esteem; offering them every available opportunity to reach their full potential.

As reflected in our exceptional GCSE results, we have high academic expectations of all our students and offer a creative and aspirational curriculum whilst always respecting traditional values by demanding high standards of behaviour, attendance and appearance.

Sir William Romney’s has an excellent reputation as a caring and inclusive school where every child is known as an individual. We firmly believe that every child can achieve more than even they believe is possible, supporting all students to make outstanding academic and personal progress.

If you want to find out more then please do not hesitate to contact the school to arrange a visit.
