Wednesday 19th February 2020 . Doors open 2.30pm
A programme of serious plucking. Lutenist/luthier Din Ghani will perform music from England, Spain and Italy of the 16th and 17th Centuries on reconstructions he has made of plucked instruments of the period: the renaissance lute, the Spanish vihuela, the archlute with its extended neck and the baroque guitar (the precursor of the modern guitar).
Come and join us – maybe meeting friends or making new ones enjoying some lovely music. Admission is just £2.50
Our café will be open if you fancy a nice cup of tea (or coffee) and perhaps a piece of cake.
