And this week we are extremely pleased to welcome Abbey Row Baroque. A group of friends who meet to play music together for their own enjoyment. We hope you will enjoy their playing too!
Some have played all their lives, others have taken it up more recently. They will be playing a varied programme of Baroque trio sonatas and a quintet by the Bach family, Telemann, Handel, Vivaldi and Quantz in various combinations this afternoon.
John Hughes: pianist and organist at Malmesbury Abbey
Paul Mason: currently studying for a Masters in Jazz saxophone and flute at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Martyn Joyce: violin
Helen Venn: oboe
Dick Venn: cello
