Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble – Christmas Concert
8 December | 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm| £5
Celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, the Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Sandra Dukes, brings young classical guitarists together from across the Cotswolds to create a unique guitar orchestra. There are currently 30 players ranging from age 9-18.
The Ensemble perform a variety of music including Classical, Spanish and Latin pieces as well as easy listening popular classics to suit each occasion. Playing together builds the children’s confidence and the Ensemble have been fortunate to perform at many venues in the UK including the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2019 as part of their Guitar Festival weekend. They have also been invited to play at a number of international festivals and competitions in Holland and Germany and many of children have participated at the World Youth Guitar Festival.
We are delighted to welcome this popular group back for a seasonal performance
