Explosive energy with style and an unforgettable ambience. 1940s swinging Paris Jazz with a twist!

Holder and Smith are a violin and guitar Jazz/Gypsy duo comprising of one of the countries most respected acoustic guitarists Stuart Carter-Smith with the award winning violinist Ben Holder.

This special night launches into tunes that comprise of the swinging Paris jazz scene of the 1940s also featuring modern pop classics played in their own contagious and energetic style. Expect the very highest level of musicianship that’s full of fun and energy while all along swinging hard.

The audience will get a chance to see the harmony between two outstanding acoustic musicians showing off the mastery of their instruments with apparent ease.

The sound will feel energetic yet haunting, soulful yet jovial and will send them through a journey of Latin, classical, jazz and beyond.

Current virus measures and advice mean we cannot sell tickets at the door. Seats must be reserved in advance. However we have upgraded our ticketing arrangements to allow you to reserve specific seats.

We have reduced the number of tickets available for each event in line with the latest government guidelines on distancing.

The new seating layout for audience events offers single seats and sets of two, three and four at tables or in the tiered rows at the recommended separations.

At the same time we have upgraded our online booking process so that customers can book specific seats or tables for every event. This means that you will know in advance where you will be seated.

Hygiene measures

We provide hand sanitiser points for everyone visiting the Goods Shed and cafe.

Please wear a face covering while inside the building, including moving to and from your seat, except while you are eating and drinking, or unless you have an exemption.

As well as giving the auditorium a thorough clean before and after performances, have put in place a new flow system designed to keep users the regulation distance apart while getting to and from their seats.
