Tetbury Community Choir presents
The Best of British and Beyond
Tetbury Community Choir leads a witty and popular programme of community singing, music, and poetry from the four corners of the UK and the commonwealth to celebrate the coronation of King Charles the Third. The audience will be encouraged to join in with many of the songs leaving with a smile on their faces and a reinforced pride in their country.
What you can expect to hear and enjoy during the evening:
ENGLISH SONGS such as I do like to be beside the Seaside, The Floral Dance, Streets of London
SCOTTISH SONGS might include Bonnie Banks O’ Loch Lomond or maybe Skye Boat Song
WELSH SONGS – could be Land of My Fathers or possibly Men of Harlech
IRISH SONGS – such as the popular Paddy on the railway as well as Londonderry Air
As well as COMMONWEALTH SONGS – from Canada, Australia and New Zealand
Together with some POETRY and PIANO PIECES

About Tetbury Community Choir
Tetbury Community Choir is a very friendly and informal mixed choir for all ages and vocal abilities.
Originally formed in 2010, their membership has increased substantially over the years.
Tetbury Community choir is a non-audition choir and no singing experience is needed. It has an open door policy and welcomes anyone with a desire to enjoy singing in a no-pressure environment and with the emphasis on the joy of singing.
You are invited to come to sing, enjoy learning a variety of songs and meet new people.
