The Goods Shed Comedy is back and yup, comedy, comedy, comedy, comedy – That’s what we’ve got for you!!!
This month features Tom Glover, Lindsey Santoro and Gary Tro!
Loveable West Country favourite Tom Glover is a highly sought-after act and MC, capable of bringing laughter to any room. Tom combines tales of fatherhood and country living with hilarious observational routines on daily life.
His infectious personality and playful approach make him an instant hit with audiences, however Tom is perhaps best known for his excellent crowd work and quick wit that have earned him a number of regular compere roles at major venues across the South West. He’s had two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with split shows and is currently working on his debut solo show ‘A Glover not a fighter’, which was nominated for the ‘Best New Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival this year.
‘His interaction with the crowd is perfect. An ability to create great mental images… great ad-libbed jokes. There is a strong future for this fresh-faced comic.’ Ed Fringe Review
Lindsey Santoro is one of the best hidden gems on the circuit, who hails from Birmingham, has in her short time earned a place in the finals of both The English Comedian Of The Year and The Funny Women competitions.
Lindsey has also popped up regularly on the radio appearing on BBC Radio 2 & 4 and regularly on Brum Radio & BBC West Midlands. On top of that she has performed as part of the ‘Best In Class’ show at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe and has appeared a grand total of four times at the Birmingham Comedy Festival, including her debut hour solo show in 2018, & three times at The Leicester Comedy Festival.
Gary is an established stand-up on the UK comedy circuit, touring both in the UK and overseas with his joyously angry and hilariously anarchic style of comedy. A versatile performer, he’s also a talented actor, presenter and comic improviser. Recently returned from a critically acclaimed tour of Australia.
