Certificate PG.  Running time: 1 hour 40 mins.  Documentary.  Doors open at 7.00pm

A decade after AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH brought climate change into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting and rousing follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution.  Former US Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight travelling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy.

Cameras follow him behind the scenes – in moments both private and public, funny and poignant — as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

Renowned filmmakers Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk (Audrie & Daisy, 2016 Sundance Film Festival) have taken the baton from 2006 Academy Award-winner Davis Guggenheim. What started then as a profound slide show lecture has become a cinematic excursion. America’s former vice president invites viewers along on an inspirational journey across the globe and suggest tools to heal the planet.

A PG certificate means… … “Films classified PG are suitable for general viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children. To help them decide, we recommend that they check the BBFCinsight for that film in advance” – British Board of Film Classification
