Audiences have acclaimed them as hilarious entertainment suitable for the whole family especially since they are able to sing whilst wearing a variety of hats and accessories.

Pianist Charles Owen plays Schumann, Liszt, Chopin and Franck

Tonight, Charles Owen will play a programme by four masterly Romantic composers all of whom took piano music to new heights of expression. Robert Schumann’s mercurial imagination fills every bar of his early piano music no more so than in the energetic Carnaval. Liszt & Chopin revolutionised the way pianists approach their instrument by writing music of immense poetry, virtuosity and originality. The closing work is Prelude, Chorale et Fugue by Cesar Franck.

Piano Masterclass with William Howard

An informal workshop day with one of Britain’s leading classical pianists, open to all piano enthusiasts. Up to eleven places are available for intermediate and advanced pianists who wish to perform prepared repertoire. Non-playing observers are also very welcome.
